STAND HERE. (wipe your feet, jump and down)

Stand here. check. done. What have I taken away from this?? looks like I need a pedi.

Pour, Spill, Drip, Spit, Fling your Coffee (Orange Juice in this case) HERE!

First of all...I need to take my pictures up right because I obviously don't bother editing them...
There is definitely some coffee on top of the fridge...my roommate enjoys her cup of joe but I feel like Liz's head would have exploded if she saw me brew the coffee and then dump it on the book. She is still trying to process the concept of  "wrecking" ones journal and brewing coffee would just upset her world that much more...so I took the liberty of changing coffee to orange juice and going from there

I wiped off the page after the picture...habit.

This Book Belongs To:

So I went a little out of order the first time I started "wrecking" the journal. But here is the first page...probably should have filled it out first.  ~Anne

DRAW FAT LINES AND THIN. pushing really hard with a pencil ~Anne

i colored in smaller lines to make "fat" lines.

FINISHED PRODUCT!!
This one seemed like a good journal page to end the night with, it is currently 11:06pm Eastern Time/my time.  So I picked an easy one that could be done within the confines of ones home. Drawing lines...easy enough, right?! Au contraire...I couldn't find a non mechanical pencil to make "fat" lines with...so here is my efforts at making different sized lines with a mechanical pencil! ~Anne

Getting around to finally posting...poking holes with a pencil ~Anne

I am to poke holes in this piece of paper...

...starting the hole making process...luckily it wasn't too hard to figure out what to do as the book had outlined where I was to poke the said holes.

holes. done. I even took some initiative and made holes outside the outlines. ha. take that keri smith. creative liberties taken!!!

Rub Here with Dirt

I figured that after taking Journal through the dried canine feces, why not just get it dirty.

Walk this way.

Now, I couldn't find string, but I did find an old, green wire.
Classy right?

The Kona did not appreciate Journal following us.
Spooked her for at least 5 minutes.
Realizing that Journal was not going away, she finally accepted it.

Journal sustained many injuries during this time, going over ice, asphalt, poop, sidewalk and puddles.
Luckily, the poop was super dry, but nonetheless the damage to my heart was done.
Also, I would recommend doing this part after you finish a couple of the licking/chewing pages.
A mistake I have already made.

Burn this Page

Don't let this flame fool you.
At one time it was a roaring blaze, to which I squealed.

Which is why most of this page is missing...
kids, don't mess with matches without being supervised.

Warnings and instrucciones

I find this warning to be a call the action.
Bring it.  We fear nothing.

I <3 sporadic instruction and way of life.

This is MY book. Dearest Annie, where is yours?

Let it begin.
Which while Annie and I were trying to find a good spot to being our mayhem,
we realized that our books are even printed differently! (whah??)

This is going to be soy much fun.

Harms out.

Wreck this journal...why???

I'm not much of a blogger. I have never been great at expressing thoughts and feelings on paper...I'm more of a facts and science girl. Luckily, this blog isn't about composing a novel, but more of a documentary...a documentary about a creative journey involving two friends (best friends that go way back...probably before this life). One that makes you think outside the box. In our mutual possession, we contain a journal (brain child of author Keri Smith)...the journal tells you to do crazy, unnatural things; like take it on a walk, shower with it, tear out perfectly good pages. Its goes against ever organizational bone in my body but I'm willing to do what it says...maybe it will be therapeutic in the process...allow one to be creative in an unconventional way... ~Anne
